2010 Ground Rules and Clarification: All Jackpots except August 29:
count for Barrel Buddies year-end awards. There is no membership required however you must
run in at least 6 jackpots to be eligible for the year end awards. You are encouraged to pre enter the
night before, There will no entries taken or refunds given after a class has started. (You
may still run if you pre enter and arrive late. .If you pre enter and are not there when
you draw up you will automatically move to the end of the draw. If the timer fails you
have the option of a return of your entry fee or re-run at the bottom of the draw, (But,
all penalties will carry over.) Time Onlys will be offered at
all races @ $3.00 each however, Pole T/O must pre-enter this year we will not take any T/O
Poles entries the day of the race (No Exceptions) 4D Barrels $27: 1-D Fastest Time, 2-D Fastest Time
Plus ½ second, 3-D Fastest time Plus 1 second,4-D Fastest Time plus 2 seconds Division Pay Off : For Barrels 1-D 30%
2-D 27%
3-D 23% 4-D 20% Division Pay Off For Poles:
Poles 1-D Fastest time, with1 second split for 2-D. 1-D 60% 2-D40% Youth 3-D Barrels 18 &
under $18 1-D Fastest time, 2-D fastest
time plus 1 second, 3-D fastest time plus 2 seconds. If there are less than 5 entries ,
the class will be a 2-D, but points will be given in the 3-D format POINTS: KNOCKING OVER A BARREL OR POLE WILL
RESULT IN A NO TIME, AND NO POINTS. Saddle and Year End Awards: For every race you enter you get a
chance in the saddle drawing and for every check you receive you get another chance. You
must enter the open to qualify for the saddle. Series awards and saddle drawing will be done at the October 13th jackpot. You must be present to win an award. Poles will be run at each race, new this year we will be giving awards for Poles. Points will be on horse and rider team. A horse and rider may accumulate points in any division However, only the division where the most points are earned will be the final standing for the year. A horse and rider team will only be eligible for one award per event. In the event we end up with a tie for points money will be counted and determine the winner.( In order to qualify for year end awards horse and rider team must compete in at least 6 out 9 jackpots scheduled for the year.) |
